Most of my followers know me as someone who blogs about weddings and home projects. BUT if you look further than the blog posts, you'll find out that my profession is graphic design. I do freelance wedding & baby invitations and decor on the side, web design management is my full time job.
Psst, I am also working on my Etsy shop, check it out here.
This year, I plan to mix in a little bit of freelance work to my blog as I finish them, so here goes this first post!
Sara is my sister-in-law, who is getting married in March at Sycamore Hills Golf Club. Their wedding style is a classic and elegant, with using blush, grey and ivory as their primary colors.
I was honored when she asked me to design her wedding invitations, and some of the signs that will appear around the ceremony and reception areas on their big day.
My mother-in-law also asked me to design the bridal shower invitations.
The Wedding Invitation
Style: Elegant, Classy & Simple
I used a shimmery paper, called Stardream for the cards, and paired them with grey envelopes. She was looking for a font that was readable, but elegant. A clean, condendensed font was chosen to compliment the cursive font.
