This is our second year hosting the "Ryan Family Christmas" party. In years past, my husband's mom hosted. After we purchased our home last year, Ryan's mom asked us if we would begin hosting because our home was larger than hers.... I happily accepted the challenge!
We served turkey dinner (2 turkeys) with mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing to our 23 guests. In addition to the items above, we also had rolls, broccoli cheese casserole, mac and cheese, appetizers and desserts.
My biggest issue this year was that my turkeys took an hour longer than anticipated, but thanks to my handy timeline, we still ate at our planned time of 5:30.
After dinner, we all mingled, did a white elephant gift exchange, other gift exchanges, and minute-to-win-it games.
